RIMES
Challenge: The existing frontend system at RIMES faced performance bottlenecks and lacked scalability, making it difficult to efficiently handle an increasing number of users and complex data visualizations for the Flood Forecasting & Warning Centre.
Action: I implemented an optimized frontend architecture, leveraging Angular, AG-Grid, and Highcharts to build dynamic, interactive data tables and visualizations. Additionally, I integrated responsive design principles to ensure seamless user experiences across various devices. I also improved performance by optimizing data fetching and rendering mechanisms.
Result: The new system significantly improved frontend performance, enabling RIMES to handle a rapid increase in users from 500K to 1M while maintaining high responsiveness and scalability. The system is now more agile, able to adapt to future growth, and provides a more efficient user experience for real-time flood data analysis.

Challenge: The company needed to improve real-time and historical activity tracking for 50+ engineers, enhance data security compliance, optimize API performance, and manage the tracking of 20,000+ technicians, all while ensuring scalability and efficiency.
Action: I developed an employee timecard feature for better activity tracking and implemented RBAC to ensure 100% data security compliance. Optimized API response times using Redis (1.2s to 0.3s) and designed middleware for document upload limits, reducing store usage by 40%. Additionally, implemented webhooks to streamline data synchronization (8x processing improvement) and mentored 3 engineers, promoting 2 to mid-level roles.
Result: Achieved enhanced operational transparency, improved API performance, and ensured 99.99% uptime. Reduced page load times by 30%, increased response rates by 25%, and boosted overall system efficiency to support scalability and efficiency.
